But Do You Like Her?

Today is my 10th wedding anniversary. For a girl with commitment issues, this is a pretty big deal.

I think my favorite part of my engagement/wedding was when we went to talk to my dad.

If you don't know, my dad was a junior high principal at the time. So, Scott basically was sent to the principal's office. Where he was kept waiting. In a pretty small chair.

We sat across from my dad and just kinda smiled at him.

He had one question.

"Do you like her?"

We kinda laughed and looked at him like he was crazy.

"I know you love her. But do you like her?"

I was ready to die.

Scott laughed and assured him that he did, in fact, like me.

I was more than a little embarrassed, but I didn't care. He liked me.
